On December 19th, the founding ceremony of the Dazu District Vocational Education Federation in Chongqing was held at the Shuangqiao Campus of Chongqing University of Engineering. Yi Lan, member of the Education Working Committee of the Dazu District Committee and Deputy Director of the District Education Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. More than 600 people, including the main leaders from the Higher Education Service Center of the Dazu District Education Commission and the Vocational Education Department, as well as the main leaders and leaders in charge of teaching and student work from six vocational colleges in Dazu District, as well as representatives of ideological and political teachers and representatives of teachers and students from Chongqing University of Engineering, attended the founding ceremony. The meeting was chaired by Xiaoyong Tang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our school and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shuangqiao Campus.

The meeting was first delivered by Yeping Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of our school. Yeping Zhang stated that the establishment of this federation is a milestone event in the history of vocational education development in Dazu. We will fully leverage the role of the vocational education federation, deepen friendly cooperation between vocational education institutions, promote vocational education integration, jointly explore innovative development paths for vocational education, improve the level and quality of vocational education, and serve local economic and social development.

Subsequently, representatives of the member units of the federation signed the "Chongqing Dazu District Vocational Education Federation Collaborative Development Agreement". Lan Yi, member of the Education Working Committee of the Dazu District Committee of Chongqing and Deputy Director of the District Education Committee, expressed sincere gratitude to Chongqing Institute of Engineering for its hard work in organizing this founding conference in her speech. She clarified the functional positioning of the Dazu District Vocational Education Federation, which is to build a platform for cooperation, exchange, resource sharing, and complementary advantages for various vocational colleges in Dazu District, better realizing organic links between various vocational colleges, helping Dazu District to do a good job in "international cultural and tourism city, characteristic industry highland, urban-rural integration demonstration", and empowering local economic and social high-quality development. Yi Lan put forward four hopes for the future development of the Federation: firstly, to lead the Party building and comprehensively implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent; Secondly, student-centered, emphasizing the cultivation of practical abilities and innovative spirit; The third is to re cultivate excellent teachers and cultivate professional, high-quality, and innovative teachers; The fourth is multi-party cooperation, gathering and developing joint forces to broaden the employment channels for students.
